1. The bandleader who thinks sound check is the time to practice, rehearse, or add some new wrinkle to a tune that the band hasn't rehearsed.
2. The monitor guy who thinks he's a part of the performance in the worst way, and his alter-ego the monitor guy who just walks away or zones out.
3. The front of house guy who wipes the board after the check and forgets where to baseline the mix once the show starts.
4. Too much cowbell in everyones mix. In fact cowbell in anyone's mix!
5. Crazy, unrealistic amounts of reverb in the monitors, house mix or anywhere for that matter!
6. The backline tech who gets mumbo sauce on your drum heads.
7. Horrible intonation.
8. When they assume "horns are loud, they don't need monitors, right"?
9. Ummm, we're out of time you guys will just have to line check and go. After taking 45min to ring out a drum for the band before your check time.
10. When there's one mix across the stage, and someone demands that they be turned up to blastissimo.
